Gannon is using a new course evaluation system.
Gannon University is excited to announce a more streamlined system of capturing course evaluations from students to best inform our faculty’s teaching methods and course content.
Beginning in Summer 2020, we will be using EvaluationKIT by Watermark™ to collect instructor and course feedback at the end of each course.
This easy-to-use system integrates directly with Blackboard and boasts intuitive features that make sharing feedback seamless. These features include automated notifications through Blackboard, mobile-friendly survey access from any device, and tailored student dashboards.
Students will first receive an email when the evaluation survey is available. The email will provide information regarding the evaluation as well as a link and instructions on how to access the evaluation.
All survey results are anonymous, so students can be open and honest in their evaluations. Their identity remains private, and instructors cannot see the results of the evaluations until grades are finalized.
Gannon’s student surveys are great opportunities to share feedback about classroom learning experiences. Gannon highly values student input and uses the survey results to continuously evaluate and improve the quality of teaching and learning and strengthen the delivery of its course offerings.
Please monitor your email for additional information around these course evaluation surveys.
