Gannon University is hosting two exciting virtual events that will showcase the innovative work of our students this Thursday, April 30.
The 15th Annual GIS Mapping Exhibit will be held at 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 30. Students will showcase their community mapping projects through a series of presentations during this special exhibit. These projects are developed through introductory- and senior-level GIS classes taught by Chris Magno, Ph.D., associate professor in criminal justice, social work and environmental science and engineering.
The 2020 Innovation Showcase will be held via a live YouTube broadcast at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 30. Teams of Gannon University students will present their innovative class projects and compete for an opportunity to transform these projects into viable startup companies. The winning team will receive a grand prize of six months of free office space within Gannon’s Erie Technology Incubator and be announced by a panel of judges via a Zoom call at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 1. This event is presented by Gannon University and ETI.
