Gannon Occupational Therapy Student Accepts Job Prior to Graduation

Jessica Gaffney, Master of Science in Occupational Therapy

Jessica Gaffney, Master of Science in Occupational Therapy

Gannon MSOT student - and soon to be graduate - Jessica Gaffney has accepted a full-time position as an occupational therapist at Associated Physical and Occupational Therapists.

"It feels great to have a position lined up prior to graduating with my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy," Gaffney said. "I got so many hands-on experiences at Gannon that were valuable to discuss in my interview including treating children in the Little Knights Pro Bono Pediatric OT clinic and traveling to Ecuador to treat clients internationally. These experiences definitely helped me stand out. I also met with career advisors at the career center several times to help me feel confident with my resume, cover letter, and interview skills."
