AJ's Way, Gannon University
The Gannon community will kick off the Christmas season with the 18th annual “Light Up A.J.’s Way” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, starting at the Center for Advanced Engineering, 130 W. Eighth St.
The lighting of A.J.’s Way will begin at 7 p.m. on A.J.’s Way near the Center for Advanced Engineering. As is the tradition, an honorary Make-A-Wish Foundation child will flip the switch to illuminate the thousands of lights along the walkway.
Immediately following will be a series of festivities, including decorating Christmas cards and ornaments and a Stuff-A-Plush activity. Free hot cocoa and snacks will be provided. Events will take place in the Waldron Campus Center Lobby, 124 W. Seventh St.
Light Up A.J.’s Way is sponsored by Gannon’s Activities Programming Board in partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Attendees are encouraged to gift a monetary donation to the foundation.
