Dusk: A Bite Size Love Story opened to a sold-out run and is receiving rave reviews during The Edinburgh Festival Fringe, known as "one of the greatest celebrations of arts and culture on the planet." Co-written by Morgan Kennedy and Daniel Ruffing, the new, original Twilight parody musical recounts the events from the first movie with elements from the books, movie franchise, and meme culture sprinkled throughout.

If the title sounds familiar it may be that you heard about the musical when it was workshopped at Schuster Theater in February of 2023, or you may have seen one of the viral TikTok videos in the past seven months. Now, at the Edinburgh Fringe, the international cast entertains a packed house every night from August 4 through August 26. Additional matinee performances were added and are nearly sold out as well.

Gannon theatre major Anthony Nunez traveled to Edinburgh to continue in the role of Egglet. Adjunct theatre lecturer Molly Cooke is the show’s Sound Designer and Technician. Schuster Theatre Technical Director and assistant professor Angela Howell designed the costumes and scenery.

When asked why they decided to make the journey to Scotland the reason was the same for all, “you can’t pass up the opportunity to bring a show to the Fringe.”
