Gannon Students Rated “Master Codebreakers” during Kryptos 2023

Gannon students Julia Takagi and Kaisamusa M. Kamara were rated as Master Codebreakers after successfully completing all three code-breaking challenges in the Kryptos 2023 competition. 

Their team was one of only 12 out of 70 teams of 144 students representing Alabama, California,  Idaho, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, the UK, Utah, Virginia, and Washington to achieve this level of success. 

They were the first team from Gannon to solve all three challenges in the competition.
