Gannon READS author Mohammed Al Samawi
All are invited to participate in the Gannon READS event on Tuesday, Oct. 18 to engage with and hear from Mohammed Al Samawi, author of Fox Hunt.
An evening with Mohammed Al Samawi
Join us at our signature Gannon READS event on October 18, 7 p.m. at the Warner Theatre. Winner of the 2019 Nautilus Book Awards and finalist of the 2019 National Jewish Book Awards.
Fox Hunt tells one young man's unforgettable story of his harrowing escape from Yemen's brutal civil war with the help of a daring plan engineered on social media by a small group of interfaith activists in the West.
The story of an improbable escape as riveting as the best page-turning thrillers, The Fox Hunt reminds us that goodness and decency can triumph in the darkest circumstances.
This event is required for all first-year students and Gannon 101 facilitators. The entire Gannon community is welcome.
All attendees will be checked in using Event Pass through the CORQ app. Please continue to check your Gannon email for details and information.
