Students in Gannon's Young Writers Camp engaged in a series of writing workshops.
Gannon welcomed several regional students from Cleveland, Pittsburgh and more during a weeklong Young Writers Camp Aug. 1-5 to introduce them to a variety of writing techniques to sharpen their skills.
The camp, which was designed as a writing workshop, introduced young writers to the techniques of composing fiction, poetry, journalistic content and social media content. They developed a professional resume and an online writing portfolio. Together, they explored the valuable skills of reading, listening and speaking to enrich themselves academically while having fun with writing.
The Young Writers Camp was led by several faculty experts in Gannon's College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences.
