NCAA Elite Eight, Gannon Women's Volleyball
Admission is free tonight for Gannon students, faculty and staff from the Ruskin campus at the Elite Eight NCAA volleyball match at the Bob Martinez Athletics Center at the University of Tampa campus. You must show your Gannon ID to get in free.
On the Erie campus, all are welcome to join the watch party in the Recreation and Wellness Center lobby - enjoy pizza and the game on multiple screens.

Gannon earned the No. 5 seed in the field of regional champions and will open play against fourth-seeded Hillsdale today at 5 p.m. The winner of the Gannon-Hillsdale match will await the winner of No. 1 Tampa vs. No. 8 Augusta on Friday. The National Championship match is set for 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 11.
The Golden Knights enter today’s match with a 31-6 overall record and have won 10 of their last 11 matches dating back to Oct. 29. Gannon won the PSAC West regular-season title and advanced to the PSAC Tournament Championship match. During last weekend’s NCAA Atlantic Regional, Gannon picked up a 3-2 win over East Stroudsburg in the quarterfinals, before sweeping matches against West Virginia State and top-seed Wheeling in the semifinals and finals.
Gannon will be making its sixth appearance in the NCAA Elite Eight this week, including its third appearance in the last four NCAA Tournaments. The Knights advanced to the final four in 2017 and went to the elite eight in 2019.
