Commuter Awareness Week
Gannon University is hosting a four-day celebration for all commuter students on campus from Sept. 20 to Sept. 23 in honor of Commuter Awareness Week.
Featured events include a two-day scavenger hunt on September 20 and 21. Offices around campus will set up missions for the commuter students to participate in. This scavenger hunt will help the commuter find their way around Gannon.
As part of the week’s events, commuter students can also explore our community to find business and art that they like. The students are to take photos of the artwork as part of this mission.
The Commuter corner will also be hosting trivia, crafts and more events with raffles and prizes to be awarded throughout the week.
Commuter Awareness Week is designed to promote students interactions within the Gannon community. This event will help commuter students expand their knowledge on campus and around local businesses.
“We are encouraging the students to explore campus and gain knowledge of all the resources available to them.” said Heidi Noyes, director of the Commuter Life at Gannon.
