My research addresses topics in the environmental health field with a particular focus on airborne contaminants and human health risk assessment. The intent of this research is to identify and describe the extent of the pollution problem and to subsequently estimate the health risks from exposure.  Recent projects have included a human health risk assessment of Presque Isle Bay and air monitoring for particulates within the Erie area.
