Gannon University is committed to providing students with learning opportunities that will ensure global awareness and multicultural appreciation. In order to encourage students to study abroad, the University awards scholarships to eligible undergraduate students based on merit and/or need who will be participating in an academically-based Learning Abroad program. The amount awarded is dependent on the applicant pool, available funding, and the duration of the intended program. Students who have enrolled in GIFT Courses or who are planning a semester or summer abroad will receive information on applying for Gannon University Learning Abroad Scholarships directly from the Associate Director of Learning Abroad and International Academic Programs.
Students are also encouraged to look for additional funding opportunities in outside scholarships. Many federal and private scholarships are available and intended to aid students in pursuit of overseas studies. Some of these available scholarships are listed below, but students are encouraged to do research for additional funds if necessary.
