Splash Lagoon is also located in Erie and is one of the largest indoor water parks in the eastern United States.

Perhaps Erie's greatest resource, Presque Isle State Park is a seven-mile long peninsula that juts out into Lake Erie. The bay formed by the peninsula is all that separates Gannon's campus from countless outdoor activities. A 13.5 mile multi-purpose trail complements miles of sandy beaches and interior hiking trails cut through the landscape. By land or sea, there are dozens of things to do on the peninsula.
