MOSLEY AND GOLDCAMP NAMED TO
ALL-GLIAC SOUTH DIVISION FIRST TEAM

LINDSEY AND GOLDCAMP NAMED TO GLIAC ALL-DEFENSIVE TEAM

ERIE, Pa. - Gannon’s Vince Mosley (Boynton Beach, Fla./Dillard) and Kyle Goldcamp (Pittsburgh, Pa./Central Catholic) have been named to the All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division first team released Thursday night in conjunction with the league’s Final Four banquet hosted by Grand Valley State.

In addition, Joe Lindsey (Spring Valley, N.Y./Spring Valley) and Goldcamp were named to the GLIAC South Division All-Defensive team.

Mosley leads Gannon in scoring (16.9) while ranking second in field goal percentage (55.9), rebounding (6.6), and assists (73). The senior forward is shooting 55.9 percent (167-299) from the field, 40 percent (12-30) from three-point range, and 69 percent (111-161) from the free throw line. He has scored at least 11 points in 24 of 27 games he played in, including a season-high 30 at Wayne State. His 11-of-12 showing at Tiffin on February 19 accounted for the 11th-highest single-game shooting percentage among NCAA Division II players this season.

The Boynton Beach, Fla., native ranks fifth among GLIAC players in scoring, seventh in field goal percentage, 10th in defensive rebounds per game (4.59), 12th in rebounding, 13th in offensive rebounds per game (1.96), and 14th in assists per game (2.70). Mosley has scored 457 points in 27 games, needing 58 to break into Gannon’s all-time top-15 single-season scoring chart.

Goldcamp leads Gannon in rebounding (8.2), blocked shots per game (2.8), and field goal percentage (65.9). The junior center is second on the team in scoring (14.8). He leads the GLIAC and ranks 10th nationally in blocked shots per game. Goldcamp is listed second among GLIAC players and eighth among NCAA Division II players in field goal percentage. His nine blocks during a 66-61 victory over No. 6 Findlay equaled the seventh-highest single-game total in NCAA Division II this season.

The Pittsburgh, Pa., native has recorded seven double-doubles and reached double digits in scoring 23 times. He ranks fourth among GLIAC players in offensive rebounds per game (2.96), fifth in rebounding, sixth in defensive rebounds per game (5.21), and 13th in scoring. Goldcamp has blocked at least two shots in 23 of 28 contests.

Lindsey did not make his first start until December 30, but has been Gannon’s floor general at point guard. The junior averages 9.9 points, 5.2 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.4 steals. He leads the GLIAC and ranked 28th nationally in assists despite coming off the bench in the first nine contests.

The Spring Valley, N.Y., native ranks third among GLIAC players in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.74), ninth in three-point field goal percentage (43.2), and 14th in free throw percentage (76.8). He has recorded at least one steal in 21 games, including each of the last eight. Lindsey has dished out at least five assists 17 times, including each of the last six.

Gannon has been one of the best turnaround stories in all divisions of the NCAA. The Golden Knights rebounded from a 9-17 record last season with a 25-3 mark and No. 7 national ranking this season. The squad won the GLIAC South Division with a 15-2 conference record and is one of four teams in school history to win 25 games. Only the 1986-87 team that played in the NCAA Division II title game won more contests with a 28-6 record.
