Congratulations to Gregory Morris, PT, president of AGM Physical Therapy in Mentor, Ohio for being named the 2019 Clinical Instructor of the Year for the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Gannon University.

Recipients of the award are recognized for the significant role they play in the education of physical therapy students. Candidates must uphold dedication to students by providing excellent clinical experiences to encourage students to become critical thinkers as they engage in patient care.

Committed to student academic success, Morris provided experiential learning opportunities for students by inviting them to his clinic to gain expertise and real-world experience. Morris has welcomed students to his clinic for five years.

“Morris sets an incredible example for the students and is always looking for ways to promote the profession,” said Julie Hartmann, director of clinical education. “He is an excellent role model for our students. He sets and maintains a high level of professionalism.”

Morris expressed his gratitude for the award.

“Being honored by Gannon University as the Clinical Instructor of the Year is truly flattering. Having the opportunity to help aspiring physical therapists is one of the true ways in which I can give back to the profession that has inspired me over the course of my career,” said Morris.
