Where are the restrooms?
Basement Level by the classrooms; Second Floor facing Waldron; Third Floor behind the elevator. There is no restroom on the First Floor.
How do I access a Library database off-campus?
Click the database: it will prompt for Gannon ID and password; enter them for access.
Where is there a wireless connection in the Library?
All four floors; however, if there are problems, then call the ITS Help Desk (7501).
Does the Library order the books that professors assign for classes?
No: the Library might have some by coincidence, but it is unwise to rely on it.
Where do professors keep reserve materials?
Circulation and EReserves; for EReserves, the professor must give students the password to access.
How many items can be borrowed at a time?
Books: no limit.
DVDs: two.
For how long can items be borrowed?
Books: two weeks students/staff, one month adjuncts/doctoral, three months full-time faculty/administrators.
DVDs: one day for everybody.
Periodicals and Reference books: no circulation.
How many times can students renew items?
Books: undergraduates can renew twice; graduates four times.
DVDs: zero.
What is the fine for overdue items?
Books: ten cents per day.
DVDs: one dollar per day.
What is the Borrower ID for EZBorrow?
The fourteen digit barcode number on the back of the Gannon ID (begins "23385...").
What is the charge for EZBorrow and ILL?
No charge.
For how long can EZBorrow and ILL items be borrowed?
EZBorrow: ten weeks.
ILL: depends on Library from which item is borrowed (articles are kept by requestor).
How many EZBorrow and/or ILL items can be borrowed?
EZBorrow: no limit.
ILL: depends on Library from which item is borrowed. Regardless, only five articles from one periodical for all of Gannon for one year.
Can EZBorrow and/or ILL items be renewed?
EZBorrow: no.
ILL: depends on Library from which item is borrowed.
Is there a fine for overdue EZBorrow and/or ILL items?
