Federal Direct Student Loan Information

The Department of Education provides long-term, low interest loans to student borrowers. First time borrowers must complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Entrance Loan Counseling to receive these funds. Federal Direct Student Loan MPN

 

Entrance and Exit Loan Counseling 

As a first time Direct Student Loan borrower at Gannon University, you must complete the federal Entrance Counseling requirement before your loan proceeds will be credited to your account. Upon graduation or withdrawal from the University, you must complete the federal Exit Counseling requirement.

 

Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan Application

The Department of Education provides long-term, low interest loans to parents of undergraduate students. All parent borrowers must complete a PLUS Data Sheet for every year they want to obtain a loan.                                          First time parent borrowers must also complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) the first year they want to borrow.

 

Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan Application

The Department of Education provides long-term, low interest loans to graduate students. All graduate student borrowers must complete a GRAD PLUS Data Sheet for every year they want to obtain a loan.                               First time graduate student borrowers must also complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) the first year they want  to borrow.

 

Financing Options

After your aid has been finalized and credited to your bill, you will be responsible for the remaining balance. There are a number of ways to help meet the difference.
