QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPERVISOR (Erie, PA) needed to work in
the meat processing facility for C.A. Curtze Company. Monitor their
manufacturing processes and work with the USDA on record keeping and related
matters. Provide managing control of product specifications, monitor
manufacturing processing to ensure conformance to requirements, while maximizing
consistency in products. Provide technical expertise on food safety, keeping
the HACCP plan and GMP’s updated as required. Handle all USDA/FSIS related
matters and record keeping. Must have general meat knowledge; be HACCP trained;
and have general understanding of USDA/FSIS regulations and policies. Because
candidate could be working on sampling products for impurities, a biotechnology

ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY COORDINATOR for American University in

data to determine appropriate controls to eliminate hazardous exposures;
understand and communicate basic sample and survey data; interpret federal,
state and local laws, regulations, and policies as they apply to environmental

Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health & Safety Science, Risk Management or a
related field required. Masters Degree and a minimum of 3 years experience and
memberships in professional organizations are preferred. Knowledge of the
principles and practices of industrial hygiene as well as OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, EPA,
CERCLA, RCRA, and other federal, local and public health and safety standards
