ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT MANAGER: Blazosky Associates is seeking to immediately fill an environmental project manager position in their State College office with a motivated person with an environmental consulting background. Individuals with civil and/or environmental permitting and design project experience along with pertinent experience securing solid waste, air quality and water quality permits in Pennsylvania is preferred. CLINICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN I (Second Shift) for Precision Therapeutics, Inc., a start-up bio-technology company located on the South Side of Pittsburgh. PTI assists Oncologists in choosing effective cancer therapies for cancer patients. Candidate will be responsible for performing various aspects of cell culture, cleaning, disinfection and maintenance of laboratory equipment, and assisting with receipt and inspection of supplies. Additionally, the Clinical Laboratory Technician I will be responsible for processing tissue specimens, maintaining primary cell cultures, immunocytochemical staining and operating lab computers for data entry. Bachelor degree required with a major in chemistry, biology, or other related science. The ideal candidate is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a clinical laboratory. This position is best suited to someone desiring to work in a proactive team environment that places strong emphasis on providing accurate and timely information to physicians. Must be able to participate in an after-hours on-call schedule on rotational basis as part of the laboratory team.
