The advocacy seminar is a one-credit course taken in both the Fall and Spring semesters of the freshman year. This class focuses on:

  • study skills
  • test-taking strategies
  • accommodations
  • learning styles
  • note taking
  • memory skills
  • section 504 law
  • time-management

Each semester the course is adapted to fit the needs of the students.
