The faculty and staff of the Criminal Justice Program would like to thank you for visiting our website. We hope you find yourvisit informative and rewarding.
The Criminal Justice Program is an interdisciplinary, undergraduate major that is dedicated to education, research, and service in the fields of criminal justice, public safety, and social justice. Our program has a dynamic and dedicated faculty that is instrumental in providing high quality instruction and advising. Our program boosts a 14 to 1 student to faculty ratio; moreover, we provide a student-centered environment with personal advising and faculty mentoring.
We have a well balanced curriculum that encompasses all facets of the criminal justice system (most recently incorporating terrorism and crime mapping and analysis courses) while at the same time provide students with meaningful "real world" internships and service learning activities. We have a solid record for placing students in the work place, in graduate schools, and in law schools.
Essentially, we seek to inspire students to become responsible citizens and public servants who want to make a difference in their communities.
