Diversity Policy

In keeping with the Gannon University Strategic Plan II (2008-2013), it is the policy of the Community Counseling Program to actively recruit students who increase the racial, cultural and geographic diversity of the program.

Commitment to Diversity Statement

The Community Counseling Program establishes and supports an environment that values the diverse and unique nature of human experiences and backgrounds. We enrich our personal and professional lives by exemplifying Gannon University's call to demonstrate professional respect for the dignity of every person.

Students with special needs are encouraged to notify the professor on the first day of class so appropriate documentation and accommodations may be arranged. Additionally, students with special needs are encouraged to notify Dr. Harvey Kanter, ADA/504 Coordinator at (814) 871-5522, who can provide further assistance.
