Gannon's SAT preparation courses are designed to teach test-taking skills so you can approach the SAT with more confidence.

Emphasis is placed on:

Reviewing techniques, concepts, and question types that apply to the exam

Proper reading of the question

Analyzing difficult vocabulary

Scanning passages for content

Mathematical logic

Reviewing important concepts in higher level math

The program is divided into three courses (Essay, Critical Reading/Writing, and Mathematics). Students can choose to participate in one, two, or all three courses and can choose among four different terms.

Essay Preparation Course
This course is conducted over three (3) Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. Students can choose to attend:

Term A: August 8, 15, 22 or

Term B: October 3, 10, 17 or

Term C: January 16, 23, 30 or

Term D: March 27, April 10, 17 *

 

Mathematics Preparation Course
This course is conducted over five (5) Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.. Students can choose to attend:

Term A: Aug. 29, Sept. 12, 19, 26, October 3 or

Term B: Oct. 24, 31, Nov. 7, 14, 21 or

Term C: Feb. 6, 13, 20, 27, March 6 or

Term D: Apr. 24, May 1, 8, 15, 22

Critical Reading/Writing Preparation Course
This course is conducted over five (5) Saturdays from 10:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.. Students can choose to attend:

Term A: Aug. 29, Sept. 12, 19, 26, October 3 or

Term B: Oct. 24, 31, Nov. 7, 14, 21 or

Term C: Feb. 6, 13, 20, 27, March 6 or

Term D: Apr. 24, May 1, 8, 15, 22
