- Gannon's School of Science offers a variety of programs in pure and applied sciences as well as Pre-Health Professional and Accelerated Medical programs.
- Over the last several years, more than 90% of Gannon's
pre-professional students have been accepted into health professional schools. That figure has averaged more than 84% over the last 15 years -- much higher than the national average. - Biology and chemistry labs house the latest equipment, enabling students to gain experience they may use on the job or in graduate school.
- Students in Gannon's Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science and Science programs conduct aquatic, biological, chemical and environmental research using Gannon's own research vessel, Environaut.
- Gannon offers annual field experiences in the Bahamas and at Yellowstone National Park.
- Students are employed on many funded research projects which develop technology for transfer to industry.
- Mathematics students learn to use modern software methods for solving problems on the latest computer systems.
