 Microcomputer (PC) Applications Certificate

Overview

  • Certificate level coursework can supplement your educational and/or work credentials, and can be completed in a shorter time frame than degree programs.
  • If you later decide to pursue a degree program, credit earned as a certificate student will apply to most degree programs. For example, a student earning a certificate in PC Applications will find the credits apply to the Associate or Bachelor degree programs in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science.
  • Microcomputer skills are critical for success in almost any profession and increase an individual's competitive edge in the job market.
  • The PC Applications Certificate is ideal for the person wanting a strong foundation in basic microcomputer skills. Also, the student with a non-computer background wishing to change career directions can begin with a certificate.
