• Gannon’s foreign language program is housed in the College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, making interdisciplinary studies seamless.
• Foreign language works well as part of a dual major in disciplines such as international studies, history or political science.
• Gannon foreign language students have the unique opportunity to choose from four different career tracks:

»» Foreign language and literature
»» Foreign language teaching program for Spanish, K-12
• Gannon encourages students to take advantage of study abroad opportunities. Recently, students have participated in study abroad programs in Spain, Quebec, the Czech Republic, Australia, France and England.
• Gannon has developed an initiative to encourage study abroad at St. Edmund’s College of Oxford University.
• Gannon’s foreign language courses are taught in modern language labs. Students also have access to these labs for individual study.
• Gannon students can experience shorter overseas study tours to various destinations, such as: China, Italy, England, France, Greece, Ireland, the Canary Islands, Egypt, Turkey, Australia and New Zealand.
