• The Dahlkemper School of Business Administration at Gannon has received accreditation from the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), making Gannon the first business school in northwestern Pennsylvania with both undergraduate and graduate programs that are nationally accredited.
• All Gannon business students have the opportunity to participate in many professional business organizations, including: the Gannon Accounting Club, Student Investment Trust, Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, Gannon Advertising Club and the American Marketing Association.
• The Small Business Development Center on Gannon’s campus provides students with a unique opportunity to work on projects and assignments for area businesses through classes and internships.
The Advanced Business Technology Certificate is a value-added approach to business courses. Some business courses will offer the option of taking a one credit Advanced Business Technology session that integrates advanced instruction in the application of computer technology with the content of the specific courses. Students completing a minimum of six one-credit Advanced Business Technology courses during their tenure as students at Gannon University will earn this certificate. The completion of this certificate will serve as one source of evidence for students to confirm to potential employers that they have advanced knowledge, skills and abilities to use technology-based business applications to improve their job performance.
Transfer students with an associate’s degree in arts or science may be able to complete this major through Gannon’s Next–Step Program. Next–Step guarantees acceptance of up to 64 credits with grades of C or better and allows students to enter Gannon with junior level status.
