Cadets to Focus on Leadership Development
Posted: May 18, 2012A number of Gannon University ROTC cadets will be participating in Army ROTC funded leader development programs this summer:
The cadets are:

Eric A. Stormer, Air Assault School, Ft. Benning, Ga.; Cultural Understanding Language Program internship, China. In the latter assignment, Cadet Stormer will be teaching English.

Patrick A. Doty, Cultural Understanding Language Program internship, Vietnam. Cadet Doty will be teaching English.

Mitchell A. Carroll, Cultural Understanding Language Program internship, Cambodia. Cadet Carroll will be teaching English. Carroll had a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the Spring 2012 Semester.

Kayla A. Amsler, Leader Development and Assessment Course, Ft. Lewis, Wash.; Cadet Troop Leader Training, Korea. In the latter assignment, Cadet Amsler will be working with the Transportation Corps. Amsler had a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the Spring 2012 Semester.

Seth A. Brown, Leader Development and Assessment Course, Ft. Lewis, Wash.

Shernelle E. James, Leader Development and Assessment Course, Ft. Lewis, Wash.

Gannon University’s Army ROTC Program is a member of the “Pride of PA” Battalion. The program offers leadership training, management experience and adventure found in few traditional college courses.
