Gannon University’s SBDC Hosts Branding Your Business Seminar
Posted: April 6, 2015
"Branding Your Business" is the title of a free seminar
presented by Gannon University's Small Business Development Center
on April 7 at 9 a.m. at Seminar Room 104 of the Center for Business
Ingenuity, 900 State Street.
SBDC business consultant Amanda Kochirka will explain what a
brand is, why business owners need to think about it and how to use
it. The session will provide information and resources necessary to
establishing a brand and using it to create a stronger marketing
message.
The event is ideal for business owners who are trying to work on
marketing, but don't know where to start. "Having a brand
conception means that going forward, when a business owner is
contemplating an ad campaign, she or he won't be throwing random
messaging into the marketplace," Kochirka said. "A solid brand
conception gives marketing efforts some coherence, realistically
sets a business apart from the competition and helps to produce a
response from customers."
