Gannon University to Host Leadership Seminar

Transformational Leadership will be the topic of a one-day
seminar at Gannon University on May 20, 2014. Carter Campbell, RN,
president of C2ROI, Facilitated Solutions, will lead the event.
Campbell, a consultant from Riverton, WY, has worked with Advancing
Leader programs in higher education since 2006.
Campbell will address the roles of a leader, personal strategic
planning, motivating staff and intentional accountability, among
other topics. Participants will analyze their leadership styles,
clarify their roles as change agents, and develop skills for
building collaborative teams. The training will be a combination of
presentation, small and large group discussion, and exercises.
The seminar is sponsored by Gannon University's TRANSFORM(Teaching-Research- Advancement Network to Secure Female Facultyfor Organizational Retention and Management) project. The goal of
the project, funded by a five-year National Science Foundation
ADVANCE grant, is to increase the recruitment, retention,
advancement, and leadership development for women in STEM (science,
technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields.
The seminar will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Yehl
Ballroom of the Waldron Campus Center, 124 W. Seventh Street.
Breakfast and lunch will be included.
