At Gannon's Admitted Student Day you will:

 

  • Learn more about how advising and class registration
  • Find out about summer orientation and the housing selection process
  • Get details about financial aid and scholarships
  • Hear current GU students talk about student life
  • Attend a class in your proposed major of study
  • Enjoy lunch with faculty and see first-hand the enthusiasm for their academic programs
  • Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. Advanced registration is encouraged and can be found by clicking the link below.

     

  • 9:30 a.m. Registration Begins
  • 10:00 a.m. Separate Sessions for Students and Parents
    • Attend a Class (students)
    • The Road Ahead (parents) - Looking beyond their degree? Meet with the Director of our Career Development and Employment Services to get a glimpse of what Gannon offers to best prepare your student for what comes after college graduation.
     
  • 11:15 a.m. Separate Sessions for Students and Parents
    • Life as a Golden Knight...where will I eat, sleep, and play? (students) - Meet with current Gannon students and campus reps to get the answers to all of your questions in this roundtable discussion designed just for you...the student!
    • Financial Aid Information Session (parents) - Funding your student's college education is a daunting endeavor...let us help. Meet with reps from our Office of Financial Aid to learn about resources are available and payment options to fit your budget.
     
  • 12:00 p.m. Lunch with faculty and current students
  • 1:00 p.m. Wrap-up
    • Hear from our Director of Residence Life on the housing selection process; find out about summer orientation and the benefits of attending; learn more about how advising and class registration works; and finalize those next steps in the enrollment process.
