Gannon University is hosting Engineering Day,
Friday, April 5, giving you and your parents the
opportunity to visit Gannon and get a firsthand look
at what our programs in Engineering and Computer
Science have to offer. The Day will begin with
registration at 9:30 a.m. followed by a welcome from
Dr. Carolynn Masters, Interim Dean of the College of
Engineering and Business. Your morning will be spent
learning about career opportunities in Engineering
and Computer Science as well as participating in
interactive laboratory experiences involving electronic
circuits, strength of materials, communication systems
and alternative energy.
Following lunch with faculty in your program area,
you will have the opportunity to tour many of our lab
facilities such as materials testing, power electronics,
bioinformatics, environmental science and computer
networking. More importantly, you will have the
opportunity to talk with both faculty and current
students about our programs in Engineering and
Computer Science. Admissions representatives will also
be available to show you around campus and to answer
any questions about enrollment or financial aid.
