    Unlocking New Frontiers

Why Should I Consider Going Abroad?

Programs abroad offer you the opportunity to explore world cultures and languages while developing the interpersonal and analytical skills vital to success in the global marketplace. A study abroad experience is a time of adventure where you can explore new themes, shift your perspective, build relationships and challenge yourself to learn and grow. It’s also a chance to demonstrate initiative and adaptability as you plan and set off for your studies abroad.

What Should I Do If I Want To Study Abroad?

    1. Your first step is to decide early in your academic career if you wish to go abroad and what type of experience you wish to do.
    2. Next, attend either a general Study Abroad information session or one of the sessions offered by the University department offering a specific program.
    3. Schedule an appointment with the Study Abroad Office to discuss application procedures, departure preparations and how to make arrangements. All study abroad opportunities must go through the Study Abroad Office.
    4. Last, meet your academic advisor to discuss how your proposed program fits with your academic goals and requirements.
    5. And don’t forget to apply for a passport.
