    • Gannon offers field experiences in the Bahamas, Yellowstone National Park and Panama. Gannon students conduct aquatic and environmental research using Gannon’s own research vessel, the Environaut. Gannon science students are currently conducting research in a wide range of areas including microbiology, ecology and zoology.
    • Gannon science students have the opportunity to gain professional experience through laboratory assistant jobs, internships and co-ops.

    • Many pre-physical therapy students enroll in the science program, connecting the health sciences with the natural sciences.
    • Gannon science students gain leadership and professional experience through student organizations such as Beta Beta Beta (Tri-Beta) Biology Honor Society, Chemistry Club, Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) and the Environmental Science Club.
