The activities of the third strategy will help to realize the third and fourth objectives of the TRANSFORM grant. The strategy will increase the number of continuing education opportunities for female faculty in the areas of leadership, and will educate administrators on the issues affecting success of STEM female faculty. These objectives are accomplished through the establishment of Leadership Trainings, a Leadership Forum, and a Regional Leadership Symposium.
The first Regional Leadership Symposium will take place on May 20, 2014.
Three leadership trainings (2.5 hours each) open to all faculty
and staff, and one leadership forum for chairs and program
directors (2.5 hours each) have been offered per semester.
